Hi! 

I started HapBee Creative Studios in late 2023 to create tools that solved my challenges and frustrations as a knitter and crocheter. I tried to create something to help when a good solution didn’t exist.

We have all had those adorable stitch markers that when we used them were heavy or caught and pulled at our precious yarn. I hated that! I knew there was a better way, so my stitch markers are small(ish), light, and on smooth rings. I am also VERY particular about how the jump rings are joined so you have a fighting chance at them just gliding along but not tugging and pulling yarn as they go. 

I have never liked looking like everyone else, and tend to put my own spin on most things I make, wear, or use. I wanted notions and tools that helped to reflect that part of who we are as makers. I also tend to have a bit of a sassy sense of humor and sometimes a bit of a "Sailor's Vocabulary", so if swearing offends you, ignore those items. (But let's face it, there have been times that we have said a swear word or two at our knitting - why shouldn't it occasionally swear back!)

Many times, knitting is something I do at the end of the day to lift my spirits. When my stitch markers or tools make me smile, that just makes the whole experience even better! All the designs you see here are my original designs, and all the tools are handmade by me in Utah. In other words, you won't see them other places in just a different color or material. They are unique.....like me.....and like YOU!

I strive to make fun tools that are also affordable without giving up quality or workmanship. We can't always afford to buy more yarn for a project—sometimes, we need to use stash yarns—but we can always add a new feel to that old yarn with some fun new stitch markers to liven things up and sprinkle in some fun by using a new tool or notion!
